The Birmingham Automobile Dealers Association awarded $35,000 in proceeds to Children’s Harbor as one of three recipients for its 2017 Alabama Auto Show.
The Birmingham Automobile Dealers Association (BADA) is the voice of the auto dealer in the Jefferson and Shelby County markets. In addition to its legislative and industry representation and educational programs, BADA coordinates the Alabama Auto Show and increases opportunities for charitable giving on behalf of the auto dealers. BADA members support their communities through charitable organizations and activities that assist children and youth.
The show, held April 6-9, featured new model year vehicles from manufacturers all over the world covering two levels of the Birmingham Jefferson Convention Complex.
“We are very grateful for the continued support of the Birmingham Automobile Dealers Association through this unique event that draws large crowds year after year,” said Myrle Grate, CEO of Children’s Harbor.
Through its Birmingham and Lake Martin campuses, Children’s Harbor offers patients and their families two unique environments to strengthen family bonds and find balance and support during and after hospitalization.
