A Letter From a Mom

Church of the Highlands Members Serve in the Treasures & Thrift Store

Country Living Staff Visits Family Center

Thank you to the members of the Church of the Highlands who spent their annual SERVE day volunteering at the Children’s Harbor Treasures & Thrift Store in Alexander City.

On July 14, Highlands Small Groups spread out in communities surrounding their campus locations to make a difference by volunteering their time and sharing their love, and we’re grateful that Children’s Harbor was chosen as a location.

Highlands members from Birmingham, Auburn and Montgomery who volunteered at the Treasures & Thrift Store included the Nate Bridgeman Family (Nate, Theresa, Aiden, Elijah, Conner and Addy Sandy Ferrante); the Hall family (Misty, Pari Claire and Martha Beth); Jackie Howell; the Hunter Smart family (Hunter, Joni and Jernigan); Tony and Suzanne Steele; and Katie Spain and Chad Mansmann. The volunteers helped in a variety of ways.

On behalf of the families of the sick children we serve, thank you, Church of the Highlands!

Volunteers are always welcome at the Treasures & Thrift Store. For more information, contact [email protected].
