CH Counselor Lectures at COA School Nurse Workshop

A Letter From A Dad

Heather Jordan, Children’s Harbor licensed marriage and family therapist, presented on the subject of compliance with chronically ill children and the psychosocial impact of illness to over 300 nurses from Alabama elementary, intermediate, middle and high schools in 30 different counties during the school nurse workshops at Children’s of Alabama this summer. “This is why we’ve been called here, to fill in the gaps specifically for the chronically ill population,” said Audrey Lampkin, Director of Children’s Harbor Family Center.
