About the Event
The Pig Iron BBQ celebrated its 20th Anniversary this past year of being one of Birmingham’s oldest BBQ competitions. Over 30 corporate cooking teams compete to be the BEST in meat, sauce and tent decorating categories. Hosted by the City of Hoover at the Hoover Met RV lot, crowds of over 8,000 come to enjoy a host of different foods during the Public Tasting portion of the day.
