Church Services at Children's Harbor

Non-denominational services are held each Sunday from 9:00 AM until 9:30 AM. We have services at Church in the Pines, our outdoor amphitheater, during the warmer months and have services at Children’s Chapel during the cooler months.

Make the most of it

Everyone is welcome and many campers in close proximity, like from the Mariner’s Camp, make the chapel service a part of their camp.

Children’s Chapel

Everyone is welcome to attend church services in the Children’s Chapel. Non-denominational church services include inspirational guest pastors, soloists and musicians throughout the year.

When

Services are held each Sunday morning from 9:00 AM - 9:30 AM during the cooler months of the year. During the warmer months, services are held at Church in the Pines.

About

Architecturally based on the look of an early American church, Children’s Chapel is a perfect place to spend time in worship.

In addition to church services, Childrens’ Chapel is home to more than 50 wedding ceremonies each year. In fact, it’s one of the most popular wedding sites in the region.

Church in the Pines

The large open A-frame structure provides a great environment for casual, non-denominational worship where inspirational guest pastors, soloists and musicians visit throughout the year.

When

Services are held each Sunday morning from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM during the warmer months of the year. During the cooler months, services are held indoors at Children's Chapel.

During the summer months, the outdoor church services at Church in the Pines welcome everyone to its casual environment.

How to Get Here

To Children’s Harbor at Lake Martin, from Montgomery:

  • Take Highway 231 North to Wetumpka.
  • Take Highway 170 until it dead-ends into Highway 63.
  • Take a left onto Highway 63 North, go approximately 12 miles.
  • Children’s Harbor at Lake Martin is on the right just before the Kowaliga Bridge.

To Children’s Harbor at Lake Martin, from Birmingham:

  • Take Highway 280 East to Alexander City, Alabama.
  • Turn right onto Highway 63 South, go for about 15 miles.
  • Children's Harbor at Lake Martin is on the left just after the Kowaliga Bridge.
